This high end microscope was delivered for use in a Rural Health Facility without access to Electricity.
The technical specifications of the microscope did not require that it could work without electricity (using natural light). In the absence of this option, the innovative Health worker used a hand held mirror! Appropriate technical specifications at initiation of procurement, would have prevented such a situation and enhanced user experience.
