Thank you for visiting our website www.accessglobalug.com . My name is Mr. Kalangwa Albert, a Procurement and Supply Management consultant focusing on Pharmaceuticals and other Health commodities. I have up to 13 years post qualification experience including working with UN agencies like UNFPA, WHO and UNICEF, national governments and agencies, private service delivery institutions and consultancy firms. I am a graduate of Makerere University in Uganda and a Doctoral student at Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands.
I am glad to introduce to you Access Global Ltd (AGL), a company that I am working with to improve health commodity security in Uganda and other developing countries through Research and Consultancy. AGL is a private limited company incorporated in Uganda with certificate no. 95756 of February 05, 2008. We have grown into a team of researchers and consultants with diverse background including Public Health, Procurement and Supply Management, Monitoring and Evaluation and Social Research. One of our major strength lies in our long term experience and knowledge of the local context within which we work.
In the developing world, there are not many Research and Consultancy firms in the area of Supply Chain Management for Pharmaceuticals and Health commodities. This gap has traditionally been filled by foreign firms. AGL joins this space with unique knowledge of the local context for health commodity security in the developing world. Based in Uganda, we are committed to forge linkages with like minded institutions and development agencies to collaborate and address this challenge which is typical of developing countries, and has been a beneficiary of development aid for now a long time.
One of our flagship service is the Uganda local health commodity information intermediary. Under this service, we provide information on the status of health commodity security in Uganda, which may be needed to develop an investment case. Specifically we provide analyses and reports as per customer requirement / specification; Market intelligence (insights into the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain dynamics that may affect the country) and Baseline forecasts that may cover next quarter, 1 year or more years.
